What is unique about treating men’s health? During this introductory webinar, you will build your confidence and knowledge of the most common health conditions seen in men, from an early age to senior years, and how to provide care through a Traditional Asian medicine perspective.
This webinar will also include proper draping techniques, so both you and your patients feel comfortable and safe. Learn what is unique about a men’s health focus, basic men’s health acupuncture points will be offered, suggestions of typical treatment courses for most conditions, and discuss if specializing in men’s health is right for you!
At the end of the webinar, you will feel confident treating men in all stages of their life, safe setting boundaries, feel inspired to support the men in your life and community, and have more clarity knowing if specializing in Andrology is for you.
The goal is to give you a general understanding of men’s health in today’s acupuncture clinic, with the hope that it inspires you to integrate this important area of healthcare into your practice with confidence!

 Dr. Lisa Lapwing has been specializing in Men’s Sexual Health since 2012. Through her experience, studies, and continued dedication to treating conditions that fall under this subject, she found that there is little about it being taught. It is touched on briefly in some acupuncture schools and there are few continuing education courses for it. Seeing the need to further educate fellow Acupuncturists and Oriental Medical practitioners in this important subject, her teaching career has begun to build over the last 5 years. She has taught on the subject of erectile dysfunction specifically, at AOMA where she is an alumnus, and most recently for her local FSOMA chapter. She has also spoken on dyspareunia and chronic pelvic pain at a conference for The Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates in October 2020.
