WHAT IS THE AMERICAN SOCIETY OF ACUPUNCTURE (ASA)?
The ASA exists through state level acupuncture associations to unite licensed acupuncturists nationally, and to champion acupuncture as a medicine at state and federal level while protecting professional interests, increasing access for patients, and informing the public. Their mission is advancing the professional practice of acupuncture as a whole system of medicine through advocacy, education, and research with the vision of being partners in the American healthcare system.Â
